I hope I will encourage you to pick up your brushes and watercolour paints and have a go
I like to use artists quality paints ,in tubes ,I sqeeze them into a palette .they can be let dry over night and will wet up again to use the following day
I use a watercolour paper ,this is sold in weight (thickness) I preffer to use a 200lbs weight..though 150lbs is ok if stretched ,by wetting ,placing on a board ..taped around the edges and left to dry before using
